This collaboration utilizes IRIS Optronics' latest "cholesteric" technology to develop a new generation of 27.6-inch color e-paper displays, first showcased at the 42nd anniversary celebration of Taichung Veterans General Hospital. The new generation 27.6-inch color e-paper display features innovative technologies such as support for high-saturation full color, a 1-second low-latency refresh rate, a simple and flexible operating interface, and the avoidance of wireless network interference, setting a new benchmark for next-generation large-format color e-paper displays. Compared to traditional technologies, cholesteric liquid crystal exhibits more significant advantages in large-format applications. It not only presents clear and bright images in any lighting environment but also, with its full-color display capability and fast refresh rate, is particularly suitable for scenarios requiring dynamic displays.
