Simultaneously Launching the Upgraded “27.6-Inch Outdoor Full-Color Advertising Display,” Pushing the Limits of Large-Size Color E-Paper

[August 12, 2024, Taipei] IRIS Optronics, a global leader in ChLCD technology, announced today that it has partnered with a major US liquid crystal display technology company, KDI (Kent Displays, Inc.), and Ebulent Technologies Corp. By co-signing the strategic alliance agreement, in addition to establishing a joint venture in the United States in the future, the three parties will also actively launch a series of innovative cooperations targeting multiple strategic goals such as technology development, commercial cooperation, resource integration, and intellectual property deployment. They will connect various application fields using cholesteric liquid crystal technology, and further expand their product global footprint and market scale through their respective advantages and resources. On the other hand, IRIS Optronics Chairman Albert Liao also announced at the signing ceremony that IRIS Optronics has successfully developed an upgraded version of the "27.6-inch outdoor full-color advertising display," since the Touch Taiwan exhibition in April this year. The new product features a twofold increase in contrast and a nearly 50% increase in color saturation.
